What is OrangeBand?
OrangeBand is a student organization exploring the power of diverse perspectives & meaningful conversation.
OB conversations are an anti-dote to our increasing isolation from each other and the growing disconnection between our government, people and important issues. Connecting with one another gives joy and builds community and security. We understand It’s not our differences, but our judgments of each other that divide us. We need to learn how to include and value each other’s views. Honest dialogue is that process.
I have read about you guys and like what you do! Ive visited the center and heard about some of the events you establish and would like to get involved in the orangeband. Please let me know more about you guys and how I can join. Thank you:] My email is rstehle@sfsu.edu
Orange Band is a very positive and enriching group that welcomes people from a variety of backgrounds and interests: to polish virtues and values within each individual, to tolerate, understand and compromise, to celebrate life while navigating though what needs to get done to improve the quality of everything essential to existence.
I’m very interested in your organization. How can I get involved?
